The Old Church

The Church is distinct from the Temple. Its menu includes donations, purchased blessings, healing services, marriage, confession, records and speaking with the Bishop. Entry and services have their own conditions.

Confession

Confession belongs here in this release; it is no longer a Temple action. It can restore Mental within its daily allowance, but Umbrath treats confession as a taboo. Read the price and god consequence before choosing it.

Donations and blessings

A Church donation is not automatically an offering to the god you currently worship. Purchased Church blessings and Temple Favor are different systems. Consult the displayed service rather than assuming that one payment grants every religious benefit.

Marriage

The ceremony belongs to relationship progression and its eligibility checks. Marriage can be a deed for Amara or a taboo for Discordia. See relationships before treating a ceremony as a temporary combat buff.
