What each god's boon does
Game version 1.2.7. Prose checked against 1.2.0.
Boons are domain effects, not another class. Favor scales their strength, and prayer can temporarily strengthen them. An effect only helps in the context that actually uses it.
Fighting and healing
- Solarius improves damage against undead and demons, and healing while fighting them. This includes the applicable spells, abilities, potions and herbs.
- Valorian improves damage while you are below the HP threshold. Full health does not activate that low-health benefit.
- Amara strengthens your heals on yourself and allies, including bard songs, and the party wards you raise.
- Judicar reduces damage from monsters and improves bounty rewards. The protection is not a promise that every attack can be blocked.
- Umbrath improves critical chance and Dark Alley pickpocketing. Critical rules and caps still belong to the combat system.
- Arcanus improves spell damage and mana recovered each round. A bigger mana pool and mana recovery are different effects.
- Discordia improves damage against players and can make a monster fail its first action. The first-action effect is not an unlimited hold on that monster.
Survival and rewards
- Terran increases maximum HP and improves garden herbs and settlement council share. A larger maximum is not the same as a free full heal.
- Mortis reduces gold lost when you die. Its daily death-saving Miracle is a separate Chosen benefit, not something every Follower gets.
- Sylvana improves gold and experience from wilderness activity. It does not double all rewards from every location.
Read the actual strength
Individual god pages show the exported base constants. The Favor table shows tier strength. Player-gods use their chosen domain with an additional standing and inactivity scale, so their current effective strength can differ from a canonical god.
God wards protect Mental and are separate from these boons. A domain's damage or reward benefit does not automatically erase grief, strain or withdrawal.
