The Outskirts settlement

Game version 1.2.7. Prose checked against 1.2.5.

The Settlement on Castle Grounds leads to the Outskirts, an NPC-built community beyond the city gates. It is not one of the safe outposts found inside the dungeon.

Construction and contributions

NPC settlers pool resources and build structures. The location shows completed buildings, ongoing work and proposals. A contribution gives up gold to the settlement; check its current progress before spending.

Terran recognizes qualifying settlement donations as a deed. This uses your shared daily deed cap, not an unlimited Favor loop.

Services depend on buildings

Completed structures can offer a tavern, shrine, workshop, watchtower, market and council services. Proposed buildings can add other activities such as a library or herbalist hut. A menu appearing in the source does not mean that every live settlement has already built it.

The library is one of the shared once-a-day learning recovery sources for Mental. Council rewards and gathering can interact with Terran's boon.

Changing world state

The settlement develops with its population and resources. Check the live building list rather than expecting the wiki to prescribe a fixed construction order or treasury balance.
